Here are my thoughts on your progress:
I am very happy with how you have done in the class so far. You have an "A" average on the tests, and really know the material. From this point on, you will grow in leaps and bounds. I think that the best thing you can do for yourself is to review the older lists as often as you review the new lists. I have made this course to build on itself, and if you look closely, you will see that the lists fit together to give you the tools to make sentences and start talking. Take one day, and try to speak only Spanish for a whole hour. Do whatever you would normally do, but try and think of how to say the things you need to say in Spanish. I think you will be surprised how many things you already know how to say. Don't worry if you don't know how to say everything, and don't let yourself get discouraged, just do your best. Thinking about it during your normal day will help you to remember, too, and it won't seem as much like studying. I believe that you will be ready to join the advanced class next semester. It will be really important between now and then to practice your pronunciation, and build your confidence. The best thing that you can do for yourself is to get used to sticking it out and working even harder when you are frustrated and feeling like you aren't getting it, instead of giving up. You will see how much you really do know. I just want to thank you for being a part of the class, and to tell you that I believe that God has great things in store for you in the years to come. I think that He is going to use you in ways that you haven't even dreamed about. I am looking forward to seeing what He will do.
