Here are my thoughts on your progress:
I think that you are doing very well with the material so far. You have an "A" average on the tests. I would like to see you focus a little more while you are in class. You almost always know the answers when I call on you in class, but I often have to get your attention away from other things in order to call on you. I think that the problem may be that you are bored with the pace that we need to take sometimes in order to keep everyone together, and I am sorry if this is the case. Please feel free to look ahead to lists we have not done yet if you need more of a challenge to keep your interest. I think, however, that you might do better if you go back over the lists that you have and practice the correct pronunciations of the difficult words until you have them perfect. I will be counting pronunciation very strongly next semester, and I think that you can handle it. I want you to know that you are one of the best students I have had since I started teaching, and I really believe that you will succeed in learning this language well. I cannot wait to see how God will use it in your life to bless you and others.
